This story is about the journey of knowing thyself. Growing up being different can be a challenge, often resulting in feeling forced to suppress your power into a deep, dark place. Those that do so yearn for light, hoping to crack out of this societal cocoon. Envisioning a nature-filled utopia, along with all its hidden treasures, they slowly become aware of their surrounding limitations. By channeling pain into feelings of empowerment, they endure, shaping their mindset into one of excellence. In taking control of their own narrative, they create a world where appreciation of differences, respecting one’s culture, and honouring the earth’s natural habitats are the norm, stimulating their ambition toward a dreamed destiny.

This journey invites us all to understand our individual existence and to make our dreams into fascinating realities. The time is now to make that life happen!

Eric Opoku, a contemporary artist from the Asante Kingdom (part of modern day Ghana), is an impassioned explorer of the intricate relationship between his cultural heritage and the world's indigenous treasures. Art is his inspiration, a medium through which he breathes life into the beauty of diversity. With an academic foundation in Business Administration from Texas Christian University and a Master of International Business from Queen's University, Eric skillfully bridges the realms of creativity and pragmatism.

His artistic journey is a vibrant tapestry that weaves together the threads of his Asante roots with the vibrant colors of global cultures. Through his work, Eric encourages a profound appreciation for heritage, fostering sustainable living practices, and sparking positive social change on a global scale. His art isn't just a visual feast, it's a compelling narrative that invites us all to rediscover ourselves and celebrate the rich meaning of human existence. Eric Opoku is a beacon of inspiration, illuminating the path to a more inclusive and culturally rich world.
